We encourage our children, the future of tomorrow, to be a voice and to know that they too can make a difference no matter what their age. Below are just a few ways that they can help the animals in their community:
Walk a dog at the park next door with your parent/guardian!
Our dogs can be walked 7 days a week. Volunteer training with a parent/guardian is required. One parent/guardian must volunteer with the child (10 years+). Must be 18 years or older to volunteer without a parent/guardian. For more information, your parent/guardian can email our volunteer coordinator.
Have fun collecting our everyday needs from family, neighbors and friends! Print our wishlist here and see how many items you can get for Animal House! And get your picture taken when you visit with your donations!
“CC” the Second Chance Crusader
Be a hero like CC and ask your family, friends and neighbors to sign up and donate $10 a month to help the homeless animals. For every pledge raised, you will get cool prizes like hats, shirts, mugs & more! Help individually to celebrate your birthday or holiday OR with your friends to see who gets the most pledges!
Coins 4 Critters
Collect loose change for the animals at Animal House! Decorate collection canisters and ask people to donate their pocket change. This is a fun way to help and to see how the little things add up to something big! Get your picture taken when you visit the shelter and drop off your donation!
Birthday for the Animals
Having a birthday? Ask your friends/family to bring a donation to your party to help the animals! They can bring dog toys, treats, money or items from our wish list! Get your picture taken when you drop them off!
Biscuit Bake Sale
Make yummy homemade doggy treats and sell them to raise money for Animal House! Have fun with different shapes using cookie cutters and easy everyday ingredients. People will love that they are healthy and the doggies will love them because they are yummy! Makes a fun group project too! Get your picture taken when you visit Animal House with the donations you raise!
Dirty Dog Car Wash
Gather your friends and set up a car wash in your driveway and wash your neighbor’s cars for a donation! Make fun signs and advertise it! Just ask your parents first for permission please. And of course, we want pictures!
