We adopted Cleo in July of 2007. At first we were worried about what we had gotten ourselves into. She was very skittish around people, especially men. She was scared of everything (including drive-through windows)! Here we are four years later and Cleo is a different dog.
She has learned to trust people and how to play. She loves her toys and going for walks. She completed basic obedience class and even learned a few new tricks. She's very well-behaved and calm and everyone who meets her just loves her. She is more trusting and confident. She will do anything for a treat and is most comfortable curled up on a couch or bed. She's getting pretty gray nowadays but still has a lot of spunk and personality.
We couldn't imagine our life without her!
