Grooming
At Animal House, we are committed to the health and happiness of pets. We believe that grooming is an important step in achieving this.
Support our rescue by using our professional and licensed services. By having your pet groomed with us, you will not only be contributing to your own pet’s happiness but to all of the pets in Animal House’s care. For every pet groomed, the shelter is financially supported. Your dog can truly help save lives!
We offer appointments 7 days a week. Call us at (970) 224-DOGS to make an appointment or to check out our facility.
Meet the Groomers
Corey Pantano
My name is Corey Pantano, the Grooming Salon Manager here at Animal House. I have been grooming family pets for over six years now. Beginning my career as a groomer in the corporate sector has given me a wide spectrum of experience and knowledge. My responsbilities in managing and reorganizing multiple large salons and training new groomers at larger grooming facilities has definitely given me the opportunities to learn many things. However in following my heart, I transitioned to the non-profit sector at Animal House. I have found that working for Animal House is much more rewarding in that my hard work supports homeless animals.
Specializing in working with dogs that are elderly and with special-needs, I take my time to ensure that your pet is safe and treated with respect. And I don't even mind the grumpy ones! In testament to my daring side and to the bewilderment of dog lovers everywhere, I also enjoy grooming cats!
I love hand scissoring and constantly strive to improve my grooming abilities. Much to the amusement of my friends and family, my dogs are used as frequent guinea pigs to the ever changing whims of pop culture and grooming industry standards. My son, Rory is still requesting a repeat of the “Blue” from Blues Clues look my Pekinese, Newman was sporting for a bit.
My spouse Sal and son Rory also share my love of animals. They live with five canine companions, Newman the grumpy Pekinese, Leo the puppy mill rescue English Toy Spaniel, Spinnie the blind English Toy Spaniel, Ellie the long-haired Chihuahua, and her Animal House adoptee Diego the Standard Poodle.
Feel free to call me with any questions on how I can help you with your furry friend's grooming needs!
